Fans of Charles de Lint might be quite fond of this book. It portrays the personalities of his characters in a fascinating setting. His writing stile does not falter, and his ability to paint a picture with words is amazing.
Unfortunately what he does not do is write the characters that have developed in the first two books. It was a bit jarring to see the personalities of characters completely changed in the blink of an eye.
If this hadn't been the third book in a series it would have been alright. If this hadn't been a series written by several different authors it would have been alright. If de Lint hadn't also written another book in this series later on I would have kept reading, but I just couldn't read past this one book.

Great Book !.. Never know what kind of character you meet next, or.. where/when they are from.
