I love the ValueTales. My dad used to read them to me as a kid every night before bedtime. I highly recommend them. They are accurate and kids will remember the stories. I also love the artwork; To this day I remember the historical characters from the pictures in the books & I can visualize the artwork. Just 2 years ago I knew the answer to a bonus question on a history test in college because I remembered the story from one of these books. It was Marie Curie. These books are equal opportunity in that they have stories about men and women. They are A++ books!
As a child I devoured each and every Value Tale my library had. These are wonderful biographies that highlight the character traits found in heroes of the past. Must reads!

A great book for children about a value in life. Each book in the series is a story about a famous person. A great read for any age!

I got this book when I was little. Perhaps 9 nine years old. My mom got it for me. It has stuck with me all of these years later. I read alot of books even then. It was great.
