Book #4 of the Valorian series. Kellen has left the lab to pursue a cure for his blood disease. He arrives in France where a doctor is supposedly working on the cure. A sudden explosion puts Kellen on a shirt list of suspects and in contact with a lovely lycan investigator. Sophie is the alphaa's daughter. SHe is expected to make a "good" match, but falls for kellen instead. 3.5 stars

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Great writing and very personable characters. I love Kellen and Sophie! A definite Romeo and Juliet feel - vampires vs lycans though. Two different bombers are loose in France and Kellen and Sophie (both cops) are working to solve both cases. A great mystery and of course adversity as Kellen has a blood disease which is slowing killing him. The race is on to solve the bombings before anyone else gets killed AND to find a cure and save Kellen's life. Good stuff!
