Mixed feelings on this one - lots of great character development, so a must read for a fan of the series. Great plot and as always, great writing. Unlike Kinsey who is stuck in time, Sharon is always growing and evolving in her books and this one is no exception. I think what threw me about this one is that, despite everyone receiving the concequences of their actions, in the end, it just didn't seem like enough.
Private eye Sharon McCone must tackle the cold case of a missing woman and face her own worst fears: what can happen when a marriage goes bad - or turns deadly.

McCone gets married and takes on a case about a woman who disappeared over 20 years ago.
As usual, a great Sharon McCone mystery from Marcia Muller. I am not a big fan of her non-McCone books, but love this series. Interesting characters and great plotting kept me involved to the end.

I have read the entire Sharon McCone series. Marcia Muller is an excellent mystery writer. I would suggest you start with the first book and read as they were written. It is an excellent series.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters were interesting; the plot a bit confusing at times - I had difficulty keeping the mother/daughter problems straight. Sharon McCone was terrific as usual. Great read.
Great book. highly recommend to readers that enjoy a good murder/mystery read. Story line was wonderful, humor was good and outcome of plot held your interest until the very end.
