Great patterns! Some of the colors are a bit dated, but can be spruced up by just switching out the colors for something that matches your decor. The cover afghan would look great in colors that roses actually come in such as red or pink. If you love crocheting afghans, this book is a "must have". In addition to some really pretty afghans and baby blankets, there are a couple of real gems for kids: the tic-tac-toe afghan and the checkers afghan are sure to get lots of use! There are some classics in here, but the book is mostly original ideas so there is sure to be something in here that you have not seen before. I love my copy and it will stay in my collection forever.
