I found absolutely NO recipes in this book! This book is, like, 500 pages and there's absolutely NO recipes that I can use. They're either too intricate, with so many ingredients that you lose interest or they just sound plain ol' nasty. For being a book about vegetarian food, I found it limited in many "staple" foods such as lentils, eggplant, and tofu. And there were no usable tips for me. I thought I would be able to use some tips but there were none. Maybe someone else will find it useful. I'll stick to my vegetarian slow cooker books.
Good book to begin our foray into eating more vegetables.
The best thing about this book is the variety of dishes it provides. It's well-organized and has a good balance of apps, entrees, and baking recipes.
