The worst story line ever! Stepfather marries mom to have sex with daughter. To control the daughter the mother is locked in a mental institutuion. After a while of abuse, the daughter is sold to pay off gambling debts and is kept locked in a room to have sex whenever this second man, a duke, wants her. Then the duke's heir comes along to free her finally. This is nothing but sex slavery and it disgusted me to think of her waiting around in isolation until a man wanted to have sex with her.

Very, very good. Such a different book. Do your homework on the author and her writing style so you know what you're getting in to.

Awesome book! But like someone else said check into it before reading. Its not your normal romance novel and touches on sensitive subjects that some may want to avoid.

great story line, amazing writing.
I could not get into this series of books by this author. The H/H's were uninspiring. The dialog was insipid and the plot was wretched. The books are dark in story but with little eroticism just sad lives and a slow storyline. I couldn't finish Veiled Desires, and I will finish almost anything, this book I couldn't push through.
