Sooooooooooooo good! Just love reading her books! This is the 6th in the series!
Helpful Score: 2
The 6th installment of Eve Dallas and Roarke has Roarke facing his own past and inner demons. It is interesting to see how Eve handles the revelations she uncovers about Roarke and Sommerset, his butler. Murders pile up around them and Eve is forced to interrogate those closest to her. This book will grab you and keep you on your toes. I enjoyed it very much. On to Book 7!
EXCELLENT BOOK ! 6TH IN J.D. ROBB IN DEATH SERIES
another story about eve and roarke another good read
Number 6 in the Eve Dallas Series.
All the JD Robb books have been great reads.
Another Eve Dallas story. They only keep getting better and better.
This is the 6th book in the futuristic detective series written by J. D. Robb / Nora Roberts.
THIS IS ONE OF THE SERIES THAT I HAD MISSED AND IT WAS WORTH GOING BACK FOR!
Another great J.D. Robb

excellent book. excellent series
love all these books
not my favorite of the "in death" series but solid read as always
brings in some characters from Roarke's past from Ireland and a psychotic religious fanatic.
J D Robb is in excellent form with Eve Dallas and Rourke teamed up on a series of homicides with religeous overtones. Also involves Rourke's past during a trip to Dublin.
Great book. I haven't read one of these yet I didn't like. The plot was very good and the characters are interesting.
I love Eve Dallas! This is one of the early books in the series. I enjoyed learning a little more of Roarke's history. And the interaction between Eve & Roarke, between Peabody & McNab - always fun to read!
Vengeance is mine sayth the Lord. That is until a psycopath takes it into his head that Roake must pay for what he sees as past sins. Lt. Eve Dallas must unite with her husband to unravel the mystery and solve the murders of people that Roake knew in his prevous life. It is a wild ride and a trip down memory lane for them as they track the killer to Ireland and back to N.Y.
Excellent series of books!!
Very good. J.D. Robb is an excellent read.
Great series.
I really like these futuristic police mysteries. This was a great read.
I haven't read this series in order (read #1 & #2 and then skipped around) and this book seems to fall somewhere midway through the series. Despite that I'm not too terribly confused. Eve Dallas is a police officer somewhere in the future where things aren't all that different from today. She is beautiful but very haunted, still somewhat emotionally stunted and married to a hunky rich guy named Rourke. In this story she is investigating a case where a family man has been horribly dismembered and the killer seems to be playing a game and leaving Eve clues. After digging around a little Eve realizes the victim has ties to her husband (who has a shady past). More people, all tied to Rourke, are murdered, secrets are revealed, McNab makes his first appearance and we learn more about Rourke's past. A solid entry in this reliable series.
Lt. Eve Dallas receives a call from a mad man, taunting her with riddles that give clues about the murder he is about to commit. But Eve is too late and finds the body of a man butchered in his own home. Soon another phone call and another body. Both victims grew up in Ireland and both have ties to Eve's husband, Roarke.
Another great Eve Dallas mystery. We learn a lot about Roarke's past and his relationship with Summerset. Love this series! My rating: 5 Stars.

Eve has to contend with a murderer that thinks he is doing Gods bidding.
I thought this was one of the better ones in the series.
#6 of the "In Death" series....This one centers around her husband, Roarke's past.
Very good, and suspense Lt. Dallas story.
I love this series
As with the other books in this series, this was really good. It just flew by and before I knew it I was done!
Another great book in the series.
He is an expert with the latest technology... a madman with the mind of a genius and the heart of a killer. He quietly stalks his prey. Then he haunts the police with cryptic riddles about the crimes he is about to commit - always solved moments too late to save his victims' lives.
Police lieutenant Eve Dallas found the first victim butchered in his own home. The second lost his life in a vacant luxury apartment. The two men had little in common. Both suffered unspeakable torture before their deaths. And both had ties to an ugly secret of ten years past - a secret shared by none other than Eve's new husband, Roarke.

The only difference from the picture shown is for this book is I have the original cover from the first printing. I absolutely Love these books!!
Great mystery per usual. I was on the edge of my seat.
Someone is after Roarke and Eve has to figure out who and why...very good book...couldn't put it down.
Another exciting Eve Dallas book! This time a techno-savvy madman stalks his prey and taunts the police with cryptic riddles about the crimes he is about to commit. The victims had ties to an ugly secret from 10 years ago - a secret shared by Roarke, Eve's husband. Great book!

I love the plot to this one. It will keep you on the edge of your seat!
The sixth in J.D. Robb's addictive Eve Dallas series. This copy features different cover than the one pictured.
Great plot with lots of mysteries to solve!
Another great Lt. Eve Dallas novel from J.D. Robb.
A futuristic novel in the series. When technology links the law and the lawless, predators and prey can become one and the same...
I love the In Death series. Somehow I ended up with 2 copies of this one.
If you don't care for Nora Roberts BUT love Mystery/Dark Thrillers with a side of romance and a dash of comedy - then I think you'll love J.D. Robb's ... In Death series written by Nora Roberts alter ego.
I won't go into the details of the books but will tell you this: Superb character development, continuity of the story line (which means you really need to read the books in order although they can stand alone) is top notch, the relationships that are webbed and weaved together throughout each page are phenomenal and let's the reader 'really' get to know the characters.

As always Eve Dallas is the best. Trying to protect Roark and Summerset. She believes that Roark is the final target for death by a killer. This person is trying to set up Summerset as the killer. Great Book as always from J.D. Robb. Another great mystery from the "In Death" series.
I love powerful Eve Dallas and how the complex New York crimes are solved. If you don't wanna bite her husband, don't read these books! Nora Robert's best writing is as JD Robb in this "In Death" series of some 30 stories to date. I collect all of the JD Robb books, but skip the Roberts, whose stories are not as tight as those about Lt. Eve Dallas - ass kicker! If the future of New York is like this, I fear these killers who are sneaky and complex.
Wonderful story.
This is the 6th book of the "In death" series.
