The first 3 books in this series were good. The fourth one not so much, but decent. The fifth book goes down hill fast. Who knows... if you like the other books in this series, maybe you'll like this one, but I wouldn't recommend it.

This fifth and final volume of Vatta's War is packed with action as young Kylara Vatta, now Admiral in charge of a space fleet, is pitted against the vicious pirate Gammis Turek. Ky must find a way to stop Turek from taking over one system after another even though she is outnumbered. His next target is Nexus, home planet of Ky's lover Rafe Dunbarger, who is head of the ISC, once the most powerful company in the galaxy and now reduced by corruption and infighting to a shadow of its former self. Unfortunately, the stubborn leaders of Nexus refuse to ally with a Vatta, whom they blame for all their misfortunes, and without their cooperation the chances of defeating the marauding Turek are slim indeed. Moon is skilled at rip-roaring military space-faring action and intricate political intrigue, and her characters have developed wonderfully over the duration of the series, which ends with a satisfying climax.
A satisfying close to this very enjoyable series!
This is a wonderful Space Soap Opera with 5 books, and a strong female lead. I enjoyed the first book the best, and went with Kindle for the immediate gratification of reading the next 4 books.
This is a disappointing end to a disappointing series. I expected better from Moon.
