The prose is exquisite if you happen to appreciate the old Classic style of writing, and I do. It's a book to slowly savor. Each page contains such beautiful writing it is almost breathtaking. The story itself so resembles real life and resonates with my observations and experiences.

A classic! Villette is based on Charlotte Bronte's personal experience as a teacher in Brussels and deals with suppressed feelings of the lower class. A wonderful, classic love story. Great condition.
