Wow! One of the best contemp romance I've read. The premise was absurd (lady steals unicorn to protect it from exploitation and hides out in family castle; hero stumbles across & tries to convince her he'll help protect both her & the animal he isn't quite sure is real).
Anyway, this new-to-me author pulled the story off & then some! The hero, a former pro boxer, was downright scrumptious. I mean, how many men tell a woman they love them, repeatedly, even when the female remains silent on how she feels?
Mack was super sexy & sensitive without ever coming across as a wimp, and the heroine was strong and gutsy while still being vulnerable. Loved this one & it's going on the Keeper Shelf.
