Ugh! I like VA's books, so snatched this one off the grocery store shelf. However, for some mysterious reason, she deemed it necessary to spend the first 1/3 or so of the book over-analyzing & over-explaining the characters' feelings. Boring! We are not stupid, so please, VA, just get to the storyline, please!
Anyway, after spending a week trying to get through the beginning, I finally got to the real story, which was fabulously fun. I'm looking forward to the next story in the series & hope it's not crammed with the same soap-opera style, filler, analyzation.

Typical Regency romance and soooo predictable; the characters are likeable, the plot barely there. The first in a series about 3 brothers, and one upcoming storyline is so obvious I could probably write it out right now. The author does leave you a teaser at the end of the book so you'll want to get the next one.

Her books are always very delicious, but this book really fell flat for me. It took me a long time to even finish it because of how uninterested I did become. One other member reviewed this book and I have to agree with her opinion that the book over analyzes the characters feelings. Only one love scene in this book and it wasn't that good. Storyline was excellent but I just didn't get interested enough. Will not be reading other books in this series.
Good book had to put it down a few times to take care of other things. Hard to get back into after leaving it for a little while.

Love this story! Awesome characters, wonderful storyline and lots of fun twists and turns.
Great start to a fun series. You can't go wrong with a VA book.
