Really enjoyed this book. For anyone who has ever felt like they lost hours or days surfing the net or went into work bleary-eyed from staying up late playing video games the night before, the syndrome described in Virus will seem all too familiar. A strange new disorder is causing people to become addicted to their computers, forgeting to work, eat or sleep, often to the point of death. Dr. Mark Roberts and Dr. Alexandra Walton work together to discover the cause, before the infection spreads over the entire world. This book reminded me alot of the movie "the Net". Good book.

Drs. Mark Roberts and Alexandra Walton's patients are addicted to their computers, and no one knows what could cause such an unusual number of educated, generally affluent individuals to succumb to the exhaustion and malnutrition this addiction has created. Crime is on the increase, and the doctors' own families are involved. Acting as sleuths, the physicians discover that a computer virus compels its victims to continue online.

Enjoyable read, thought it's really quite dated. The state-of-the-art technology in the book is laughable by today's standards but still, the premise is good. The ending was a little bit of a letdown for me, though.
