- Absolutely EXCELLENT! Exactly what I enjoy in a Hiostrical Romance! =)
- A 1- Nighter for me! =)
- I have to add one note here: I thought all through the book that Simon's 'problem' would disappear somehow by the end of the book, but it didn't. And by the time I got there, I realized the ending was just perfect as it was because life isn't perfect and the fact that Ms. Callen didn't make Simon's problem go away, I realized it made me love the story even more...exactly as it was! =)

I loved the hero and heroine in this book. The hero's reactions to his acquired disability were realistic and the heroine was strong and stood up for herself and others. I also enjoyed the supporting characters in this story. All in all, this was everything I enjoy in a novel.

This is the 3rd book in the Willowpond Series dealing with the Shelby sisters. The main character, Simon Wade, is also from the first book who was a friend of Lord Thurlows. Both Louisa and Simon are revisited in the book "Never Trust a Scoundrel".

This was a wonderful book. I haven't read the first two books in this trilogy, but this book stood alone very well. I couldn't put it down. My only regret was that the end seemed really abrupt. Everything resolved so fast, I was left with a sense of "That's it?" But even with that, this is a must read. Different type of plot/situation in a historical romance and this author pulled it off famously.

This is a story about a man who had an accident and because of that accident, locked himself away until Louisa was hired to be his grandfather's hired companion. While living in his grandmother's home, Louisa transforms everyone around her, including the lonely viscount, who slowly comes out of isolation he put himself in.
This is a great book and the characters and dialogue all worked well together. I highly recommend both the author and the book.

Really really enjoyed this book with the main character being blind and how the society at that time dealt with the handicap of one of its elite. Great storyline.

Good book about handicaps in the 19th Century!
