Leonie is the youngest Noirot sister and the Business mind behind the business. Now that her sisters are married, pregnant, and generally unavailable, Leonie is trying to manage the business on her own. She meets and is attracted to Lisburn, but her mind is always on business and trying to keep things afloat. Lisburn weasels his way into her life anyhow. I loved the story of how the Noirot sisters transform Gladys from frump into one of those women who is not beautiful but who has such a wonderful and strong personality that people are always drawn to her light. I loved the silly story of Swanton and his terrible poetry. This series was a treat to read and I will probably reread them all.
