Pilcher displays a perfect touch." While the San Francisco Times simply says, "Timeless, haunting... a stylistic success." "I don't know where Rosamund Pilcher has been all my life...but now that I've found her I'm, not going to let her go." states the New York Times Book Review. " Set in the pictursque environ [of the Cornish Coast] 'Voices in Summer' speaks to the heart of every woman who has ever loved in a voice... that is Pilcher at her storytelling best."

Four and 1/2 stars.Very well deserves it too.Pilcher is an oldie but goodie. This was written in 1984 but the story is never never old.
I am posting my entire collection of Pilcher's books. They are wonderful light reading, taking place in England and Scotland
Quick light summer reading -- a bit of a mystery -- with lots of English coast scenery.
