Elvis Cole in the Louisiana Bayou - with attitude
Helpful Score: 1
This is the 5th installment of the Elvis Cole, P.I. series. I like it enough to read more of the series. From the cover: L.A. private investigator Elvis Cole is hired by a popular TV star to delve into her past and identify her biological parents who gave her up for adoption. It seems clear cut. But when he gets to Louisiana, he finds that there's something much darker going on. Other people are looking and some are turning up dead. When Cole realizes that his employer knew more than she was telling, this becomes a twisting tale of identity, secrets and murder.

This was the first Robert Crais book I read - and I LOVED IT! So much that I've requested (on PaperBackSwap)the other books he has written. I look forward to reading them...

As far as Robert Crais books goes this one is very good. This is in the private eye Elvis Cole series and the action is moving along nicely here. I highly recommend this one.
