This book is simply a combination of two prior Smoke Jensen series books:

Return of the Mountain Man.
These were both good books. When I started reading Trail of the Mountain Man in this compilation, I thought it really sounded familiar. I turned to the back and started to read Return of the Mountain Man, and felt the same way. I did some checking of my prior read books, and sure enough I had already read both of them. If you haven't read them, this would be an excellent combination of the two books.
