I read the sequel to this book (Resurrecting Midnight) before I read Waking with Enemies. I haven't even finished this book yet, but I'm sorely disappointed. Compared to the sequel, it's much too sexual in nature. The first seventy eight pages was a love seen involving the main character. I got much too bored way too quickly with this one. I am going to try and struggle through it just to see what happens in the end. I'm seventy five percent done and no surprises yet...not what I'd call a good ready. He's such a great author I'm SHOCKED!
