Helpful Score: 1
Intriguing journalist's personal journey to the geographic landmarks of the five books of Moses - very readable, very thoughtful, exploratory rather than preaching.

This was a good book -- the second I've read by this author. He travels the Middle East searching for places noted in the first five books of the Bible. The modern day characters are as interesting as Abraham and Moses. The book is very well written and is recommended for anyone of any Faith.(and even those of no Faith).

This book is in perfect condition and is the memoirs of a man (Bruce Feiler) who travels through biblical lands and observes how seeing the actually landscape that the Bible was written in changes and enhances the meaning of the words written.

If you find the Old Testament hard to read this book will definitely help. We used it in a bible study.
