Moe Prager is unlike any PI you ever "met" in a book. A Jewish, ex-cop who now co-owns wine shops with his brother, his luck gets him hired...and none of his cases go down the way you would expect. Realistic characters and a wry sense of humor make the books smooth and a pleasure to read.

Enjoy!

A well-written and interesting P.I. novel, the first in a series about investigator Moe Prager. Coleman's lead character is engaging and entertaining. Moe reminds me at times of Bill Pronzini's Nameless Detective -- personable and at times out of sorts, but on the ball when the action counts. I'll be hunting down the subsequent entries in this series. I've already given two copies of Walking the Perfect Square to friends as gifts.
