A British woman, Marie Sharp's opinionated view of life at 60 in London. Despite Marie's rather wild past in the 1960's she has become rather set in her ways. Her friends and family manage to change her mind about life, death, grandchildren and sex after 60. She records all the changes in her life, with dry humor, in her diary.

Readers under the age of, say, 50-60, will probably not appreciate this lovely collection of bits of wisdom and experiences, some hilarious and others heartbreaking. Oh, and in between, plenty of free advice as told by a long time single woman of 60. Ms. Ironside captures that moment in a confident, intelligent and witty way. I shared this Audiobook with a couple of other non-PBS members of an age and they, too, thought it was uplifting and fun.
