If you want to stop dreaming about living in Hawaii and actually make the move, this is the book to read. I've lived in the Aloha State for three years now and used this book to help with relocation. Some of the information is now outdated, but the book can still deliver an honest view of what it's like to live here.

We came to Hawaii for a vacation in 2000, then we bought the book. Using muxch of the advice, we moved here in 2002. A great book - just the advice on how to move your household goods is worth it.
A little guide on how to do it if you've ever fantasized about moving to Hawaii. Good specific info on each island
Printed in 1998, not everything is out-dated. But of course, when you're ready to move to Hawaii, you'll look it all up on the Internet. But for now, when you're thinking of moving, this is the book to read.
