A limited membership ($12) should be 5 credits and a standard membership ($20) should be 8 credits, but the members should work that out in emails.  Please give a few days for the member to respond before you contact the next member.  Not everyone checks their PMs every day.  Just to let you know, you need to have the receivers email to send the gift certificate if they are a la carte.

I also have a stash of credits donated for members who need help with the credit to trade for a membership.  Please contact me for information.  The current balance of donated credits is 197.

4. The site is pretty overloaded right now, so it may take a while for the email to reach your GC recipient.  Please PM or email them with the claim code.

5. Please keep copies of the emails you receive from PBS about the purchase and retrieval.

Click on the kiosk button, or the go shopping button in the kiosk drop down menu.

 The second group is the gift certificates.

 There are options there for limited and standard GC.  

Complete the purchase and send the recipient an email (and a PM would be nice too).

************How to Redeem a Membership Gift Certificate****************

Click on the drop down menu under the Kiosk button

Select Gift Certificates from the drop down menu

There will be a box on the left side of the page that says Redeem Gift Certificate

Enter code and enjoy your books!  (Note - this works best on a computer.)

Our first GC recipient made a How To list for us.  I have added it to the first post

1) Person wanting membership: Send 6 or 10 credits (using Give Credits)
2) Person purchasing PBS gift certificate: goes to Kiosk> purchase 1 year membership and puts in the wanting person's PBS email addy.
3)Person wanting membership: receives a email stating he/she bought you a membership.
4)Person wanting membership: Goes to the Kiosk and enters the code provided in the email.
5)Both parties: can validate the transaction by going to... Account > Transaction Archive> Club Communications and it shows where I gave him/her credits and he/she purchased me a limited/standard membership.
**Print the certificate for your own records.

SUSAN, when you initially posted in the CMT your idea about trading Credits for Memberships, i was actually thinking about starting a thread like this, and a wonderful idea!   :-)

Anyway, i am in the need for Credits, and so i will commit to assist/trade for up 10 Memberships.
