One of those that you cannot put down. Many twists and turns. Jack Reacher becomes more interesting with each book.
This was not the best book in the series. But it was a quick and enjoyable read
Reacher goes on and on
Typical outing for the Jack Reacher series, with problem solving, action, adventure, and twists. It didn't live up to some of the earlier stories, but I did enjoy it, but it had just more of the same ol' same ol'. I guess I was looking/hoping formore.
For someone who hasn't read the other sixteen stories, it would probably feel more new and fresh (and exciting). For someone who has, this is good enough for a Reacher "fix", since stories in this series come only about once a year (or less) now.

A lot of talk and description; very little action. I was fascinated by the insights into the way Reacher thinks to solve seemingly insolvable problems. He has been a hero in previous novels; here he is a flawed character and I was disappointed in the book as a whole.
This book is as good as the others in a different way. As usual, the characters are not what/who they seem. This book is more cerebral and more subtle than previous ones and I REALLY enjoyed the way the tension kept building without a let up. When bad men are out there, they do not want to be near Jack Reacher! Highly recommend.
This was not my favorite Jack Reacher story. There were many twists and turns with CIA, FBI, Secret Service, Local Police. It was confusing and hard to follow.
An easy read as always with a lot of twists and turns.
Story is interesting as always.
Story is interesting as always.
I have read all of the Reacher series and I consider it one of the best thriller series of all time. This is the 17th book in the series and for me this one just did not seem up to par. I think overall it was because it was lacking on action. Reacher's time was spent on long car drives going from Nebraska to Iowa and back again - then he was transported to a facility near Kansas City and from there back to Nebraska. Along the way, he appears to let a woman hostage down in her escape from the bad guys and he bullies a child to get some information. Not what you come to expect from Reacher! There was action towards the end of the novel but I was somewhat disappointed by the whole premise of what the bad guys were doing and why. Overall, it was still a Reacher novel but I would only marginally recommend this one. Hopefully, his next outing will be better -- maybe Reacher will eventually make it to Virginia!
This was very good. Couldn't put it down like all of the Reacher series so far.
very enjoyable book-lots of action
I loved it! Now I am looking for all the Jack Reacher novels!
Loved it! Lee Child did it again
Another terrific Jack Reacher action suspense read.
ordered it twicw.
This turned out to be a good book. As usual Reacher gets into trouble this time he simply gets into a car.
Great read as always.

Once again, Lee Child comes through with a master piece in the category of series thrillers. In my mind, Child is untouchable. With Reacher, the kind of man that is too amazing to exist in real life, though no one can help wishing such a man really does exist, Child keeps the reader excited page after page...so much so that, I for one, might well choose to be late for my own wedding if that's what was necessary in order to finish it. And then when I get to the end, I cannot wait until Child finishes the next book in this marvelous series.
Loved it
Have read all the Reacher books and this one was a real page turner. Jack Reacher never disappoints!!
great Jack Reacher story
I read enough to know that Jack Reacher STILL hasn't gotten his driver's license. All I can say is that I drove across Nebraska numerous times and never got into the situations he did. Usually, it was with Lady Gaga blaring (well, OK, it's been a while, probably Madonna), so I didn't pick up on any of the local flavor.
