Helpful Score: 1
More of a novelette than a novel, it is an interesting slice of issues that could happen in the battle-school. It touches on the idea of beliefs and traditions, and how they are suppressed at the school. Interesting idea, but rather drawn out in this book.
Short but worth reading!
If you haven't discovered Orson Scott Card yet, do yourself a favor and pick up Ender's Game. Make sure you have nothing else to do though because once you embark in the series, you won't get anything done for a while.
Wow.
