I finished this book about a month ago. It was a fairly easy read. I didn't vote for Trump in 2016 or 2020. I remember the hullabaloo about the anonymous article (re Trump's administration) printed in the New York Times paper. I'm not a NYT subscriber so didn't read the article but heard about some of the things that were in it. This book, by the same person who wrote the NYT column, didn't have much new info. One of the things that I hadn't heard before was that the "Steady Staters" (those in the Trump admin who were trying to keep things from completely falling apart) were relieved when Trump decided to do one of his rallies (and, I believe, even encouraged him to do so) as the staff had some respite from Trump's craziness.
Speaking Truth to Power. Every American should read this book. I knew that he had his enablers in his administration, but did not realize to what extent...
