I loved every minute of this thrill ride. How could a strong former military man need a bodyguard, particularly a female one? Have a loving relative force one upon him and make that bodyguard equally matched intellectually. Good chemistry ensues. Full Review is at my website.
Action-packed and suspenseful, with complex characters, plus a plot that hooked me from the start and kept me interested. The first book I've read by this author, but definitely not the last. Dealt with questions of faith, like how can a good God allow bad things to happen, and issues like PTSD.
Recommend to anyone who enjoys suspense, with mystery, faith and a little romance. Part of a series, but easily reads as a standalone.
