This book was a historical nonfiction masterpiece. It contained so much well researched information, but did not at all feel bogged down with facts or dry. I never felt bored with this book, never felt like I was reading a textbook, which sometimes happens with a jam packed history book. Jones was able to pack this book with facts and details while still making it very enjoyable to read. I have been wanting to read the other Plantagenet books by Dan Jones, but now I know that I HAVE to read those books, and I can't wait!
