Another good book in the Mandy Dyer series. Mandy, who is determined to not be involved in any more crime investigation, finds herself searching for the bad guy once again. However, it can be stated, that Stan gets her started when he comes to her asking for help. A pleasant, quick read.
I love this series. Can't wait to start the next book.
I like the Mandy Dyer mystery series. Mandy owns a dry cleaner and that business seems to attract murder whether it is a body outside the back door or a mysterious object or note in a pocket of a jacket to be cleaned. She deals with inept or nosy employees, irritating customers, and the detectives investigating the murders that she has become involved in with equal determination and flair.
I have read all of her books now and really have liked all of them. You really get to know the characters the more you read.
A very good mystery!!!
Dolores Johnson writes with wit and panache
