I enjoyed this book as it filled in a little about our American history that we don't usually hear about in school. This was Mrs. Washington's story. It is very hard to imagine losing kids the way she did and also the hardship's of rebelling against what you knew and had grown up with. A nice reminder of what others sacrificed so we can have what we do today.
