This novel was engrossing and unique. At times a little confusing because the author's cliffhangers but he explains everything by the ned. Dr. Anderssen (not Anderson) is an interesting, strong character with depth and a believable history.
This book is full of unique and thrilling ideas that play out slowly, bit by bit, until they all come together at the end.
There are bits of refreshing humor and fright. The background characters are interesting and complete too.
I'm already looking for the next books in this series.
