I have read all three redcent Little House stars books. By far Allison Angrims is the best, it is humorous and gives some dirt etc. Melissa Gilbert's is all about name dropping, very little about Little House and to me YUCK, Melissa Sue Anderson's is devoted completely tro Little House (There really is little else for her) and if you are a devout fan (as I am) you will enjoy this look down memory lane. You have to know the episodes and if you do I think you will find this one charning and filled with memories of Little House.

Bravo to Melissa Anderson (who was only credited as Melissa Sue Anderson because someone else in her union had the name Melissa Anderson before her), or Missy, who uses this book for a delightful stroll down memory lane. Of the three recent Little House books, I liked Alison Arngrim's the best, but Melissa Anderson takes a very concentrated look at her career and clearly came out of the child actor experience as an amazingly healthy adult. She doesn't talk a lot about her family, but they must have done something right. She may not be completely done with her acting career, either!

I enjoyed this book tremendously. Easy reading. Brought back many memories. What I liked especially about it was that there was no smearing of famous people. If you're looking for dirt, it's not there. Just a fun read.
