End to the Brigertons for now, Gregory's story was the best and most heart wrenching!

8th book in an 8 book series. It is not necessary to read the books in order. Series is about each of the Bridgerton family members finding love and marriage in London in the 1800's. I enjoyed the series immensly.

While in my opinion, the worst of the Bridgerton series, it's still good because it's from Julia Quinn. If you've read the series, this is a must read to finish up, but disappointing compared to the others.

I am so sad to say goodbye to the Bridgertons! This last installment on the romance travails of the Gregory was not a disappointment and was well worth all of the hype and anticipation I experienced while waiting for Ms. Quinn to release it.
Gregory is so lovable -- he has been somewhat spiled and overshadowed by his older male siblings, but in this novel he steps up to the plate to claim and protect his one true love (although he is somewhat of a dolt when it comes to recognizing her at first) in irrevocable, unconventional, faultlessly brilliant and utterly romantic Bridgerton fashion. NOT TO BE MISSED!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!

I've read all Quinn's books; they are great fun. I really loved this story's hero, Gregory Bridgerton, but, in the middle of the story, I found it difficult to believe he fell desperately, head-over-heels in love with the beauty, Hermione Watson, just from seeing the back of her neck! And then along the way of his failed courtship with Miss Watson, fell desperately in love with our heroine, Lady Lucinda Abernathy. Nevertheless, I really admired the way he attempted to stop the wedding and admired his demonstration of his love for Lucy by all the things he did to win her hand. Overall, I think if you like light historical romance, you shouldn't miss this one.
Quinn is one of my favorite author's! This book however, was my least favorite read. I just didn't feel the usual strength in the charachters and storyline. The plot, the moments, the romance...just didn't feel 'doable' or convincing to me and since this was the final book of the series, I was really hoping there would be more appearances from some of the other Bridgerton's.
It was a long wait but just not the usual smiles and pleasure for me. =( I loved the cover and artwork! =)

Gregory Bridgerton meets the woman he wants to marry, but she doesn't seem interested in him at all. So he asks her best friend, Lucy, to help him out and Lucy agrees. Only...Lucy falls in love with Gregory. Great end to a fantastic series.
