A book with "math" in the title that doesn't have equations? This book is about how models are used and mostly misued. The author is a mathematician who used to work at a hedge fund and as a data scientist at a start up offering models to predict the behavior of internet shoppers. She had a change of heart, because this book is full of examples of how Big Data is evil.
