Chef Bel McGrath returns home after 15 years to her boisterous Irish family. She takes over the kitchen of the family's Banquet hall and tries to ease the menu into less Irish stodginess into a more modern taste appeal. Her dysfunctional family sees no reason to change even though the business is failing. Throw in a murdered gate crashing wedding guest at her cousin's wedding, suspected NRA arms smuggling, a 20 year old teen aged disappearance, and an old love and a new one, and Bel has her hands full trying to get at the truths from her past and her family's present.
