There were so many things I liked about this book. This is the same author who writes the shopaholic series, Sophie Kinsella. Now, I love that author and that series, but really hate the shopaholic main character at times; mainly because she lies too much, but in the ends she fesses up and fixes her mistakes.
In this book I like the main character, she enjoys her family, loves the man she is going to marry, and likes herself overall.
But she did secretly get married years ago and the secret hits the fan.
There were some themes in here about being honest about who you are, that will make you think.

I have not been a huge fan of Wickham's books (I prefer the books she has written under Sophie Kinsella) but I loved this book. It was a very quick read.

I really enjoyed this book! I tired of waiting for it on here and went to Amazon and paid like four dollars for it and it was definitely worth it! It was a bit different then what you would expect in this type of story. I thought the characters were delightful. I love British chic lit! Kinsella and Jill Mansell are definitely my favorites!
great story, great drama, some twists i didnt expect
Enjoyable Easy read.
I enoyed this book. It was not laugh out loud funny like Sophie Kinsella written books, but it was light, had a unique storyline and was interesting. Milly reminded me alot of Shopaholic Becky but with a more serious and intelligent side. Certainly an easy read when you aer not looking at reading "too hard".
Another great book by Madeleine Wickham!
