While some of the information may be helpful, I take issue with the central tenent of this book, that guaifenesin is a universal cure for fibromyalgia and related illnesses.

Very interesting viewpoint regarding salicylates, guaifenesin and the negative effects of the chemicals and elements we're exposed to in our daily life.

Dr. St. Amand has fibromyalgia himself, as well as a background in endocrinology. I have found his insights, particularly the use of diet, to be key to my own continued health and ability to function. Every sufferer of this disease should read this book.

This book really gets in depth to the known causes and scientific research into fibromyalgia, including causes, signs and treatments. The diet recommendations in this book are particularly useful.
