When I was a kid my mother used to send me to church with my GM.Nobody else in my family had to go.For two summers I was sent to vacation bible school. The only thing I took away from that was the pure terror of thinking my dad was going to burn in hell because he hadn't "welcomed jesus into his heart."

Gee no wonder I am how I am.My husband was sent to religeous schools growing up.He is also not into "GOD".We do not talk to our son about god or church or any such thing. We want him to choose for himself what to believe. Whenever anyone in my family says soemthing about god or going to hell i ALWAYS pipe up and add,"If you believe in that sort of thing.................." Talk about shocked faces.

On another note-we LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEE Christmas her in our house. It's all about  SANTA!

Lol, I went to Christian Summer Camp for 2 summers (I must have been 10 & 11, or maybe 11 & 12).  It was fine for the most part: swimming, boating, crafts etc.  But there was an awful lot of singing and sitting through dull, sweaty church services.  And we weren't supposed to tell ghost stories.... so we had to tell them after lights out, which actually made them better.
