Okay so this is a book that right now in my life, I just don't need. And hopefully, I never will need it. I am on my second marriage. The first one was shit though I got two beautiful daughters out of it. The 2nd one, the one I have now, the one I plan to keep forever, is the best marriage ever! We've been together nearly 10 years and married since 2006. Anyway, I didn't think I would need this book but figured I could read it to get some of the advice for hiring a lawyer in any other aspect for the future. Like in making my will. I listed the book immediately and then began the first page. Well, guess what happened? I kept on reading over the next three days and finally finished it last night. I ended up loving this book. It had some excellent tips contained within and I definitely recommend this book to every single person in the world: male or female, kids or not, single, married, divorced, or widowed. This book has some of the most effective information for dealing with lawyers: finding the best one, staying away from the worst ones, and helping you deal with your divorce proceedings in the best way possible. Besides this, it includes great advice on how to stay in a marriage, what works best and how to keep a marriage going great and it also helps you decide whether or not you should marry a certain individual, what to know, what questions to ask, what kind of things to discuss with them and how long to wait until you get married. It includes information about living together before you're married, the best things to do in the case of being married and having kids, should you stay together for the sake of the kids or should you go? It offers a lot of good advice in this department and helps you begin a lot of thinking in a different ways than you have previously thought. I know that if I had read this when I got divorced from my first husband, I would have really benefited from it. Just read the book. I promise you will find more than you think that is beneficial inside! Good luck to you and Best Wishes. Here is some advice from the author that I wanted to share in the case of a divorce in which rather than you being the one to leave, you're being the one to be left(just an example of all the wonderful things he has to say!): "If you are being left, you are being given another chance to find someone who will really be good for you, to you, and with you, as opposed to being stuck with someone who is none of those things. If you can rise to the occasion, undesired events can certainly be a blessing in disguise. If you can accept the fact that yes, this man (or woman) is leaving me, but realize that you are not being appreciated and have so much to give to someone else, it is a tremendous opportunity. It is a whole new second chance for a new life. After the shock, mourning, grief, anger, and bitterness, you have been granted another prospect, a brand new beginning." Now, how's that for advice? :)
