THIS BOOK WAS VERY HARD TO PUT DOWN. I JUST KEPT WANTING TO READ TO FIND OUT WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO HELEN AFTER SHE ESCAPED FROM HER ABUSIVE HUSBAND. IT IS VERY WELL WRITTEN.

This book is about a women that gets beaten by her husband and the reason she finally leaves her husband is because he almost killed her dog. She goes to a shelter and they help her out but he finds her and continues to stalk her....the ending is really good Read it to find out.

A wonderfully romantic and sappy story! : ) Great for taking to the beach or curling up on a lazy afternoon when you're in the mood for a happy ending type of story!
Fern does it again!
At first this book reminded me a little of sleeping with the enemy, but a little lighter. Towards the end I was laughing out loud! Think of grumpier old men.
The dogs really make the story.
