While I enjoyed this book I was a bit disappointed that he didn't get the answers he has been seeking for so long.
A lot of French history is mixed into the story line and that sometimes got overwhelming in keeping everything straight.
Not much of a wow really at the end, seemed a senseless murder but in that time of French history it probably made more sense.
