I enjoyed the Canadian West series. I think Janette Oke is a fine author and I would recommend her books to anyone who enjoys a good Christian love story.
This is book #2 in the Canadian West series.
Elizabeth, the cultured young schoolteacher from the East, has braved the western frontier and spent a year teaching in a one-room schoolhouse. How she and Wynn are planning their wedding and their new life together at his outpost in the far north. While Wynn is accustomed to life in the north, Elizabeth is not. Can their love for each other sustain them through a harsh winter, loneliness, and rigors of life without any of the conveniences they're used to?

PArt 2 on ELizabeth's journey as teacher and wife to Wynn a Canadian Mountie.
I love this author, and this series.
book 2 in the series. I loved it...easy fun read.
Once again, janette Oke, has created a captivating story about "romance as it was meant to be"!
Read once - excellent condition : - )
This is a book I first read years ago and have read more than once. I like almost everything Janette Oke writes. Had loaned a copy of this book to someone and they lost it. Bought this copy to replace it so my collection would be complete.
You will laugh, cry, suffer and rejoice with Elizabeth during her first year of marriage to her mountie!
