Well-written story. Grace is an independent debutant who enlists the help of a old friend, the Duke of Lovington, to help her find someone to love her. They are both damaged - she physically, he emotionally (he lost his wife & child to typhus 2 years back) He attempts to show her what a blackguard would do, but you know what happens. Even though this story has been told before, the author brings a fresh approach; the characters are quite engaging, & even if you've read a thousand of these historical romances, I think you'll enjoy this one.
