A very thought-provoking read that is terrifying as it seems all to probable.
When civilization comes to a halt due to disastrous solar storms, we follow a simple yet complex community of the Amish. Due to them living off the land and in no need of vehicles or electricity, the are able to last longer than the English (their term on non-Amish people). But as time passes on and the English run out of resources, they start to converge upon the Amish. Can these peaceful people survive such violent attacks or should they take up arms and become like the others?
A small book that really packs a punch.
