A very good mystery. Now that Sebastian and Hero are happily married, there is less romantic drama, so ironically, I was able to read slower and enjoy the mystery plot more. They are in a small village away from London in this book, so their families, and other familiar secondary characters don't play much of a role either. In the earlier books, I often found myself skipping ahead, looking for the next scene with Sebastian & Hero together! But that's my fault, the author has maintained a really high quality of writing throughout this series.

Engaging from the first page till the last. These are the kind of books that you can't or don't want to put down once you start reading them.
Another murder mystery to solve and Sebastian St. Cyr is up to the task and is willing to find out the truth.
Have enjoyed each book so far and looking forward to the next. Amazing historical information woven into each mystery and that makes them all the better.

Another enjoyable addition to the series. Harris writes well and tells a good story.
