This book satisfied my yearning for more books like the Outlander series. It's time travel modernized. Jennifer Mckinnon a weary concert musician yearns for a slower paced life and realizes her dream after falling thru a time gate into the year 1229 where she is rescued by a famous Medieval Scottish laird who is bored by the women of his own time. What ensues is a romantic frolic thru time, when the two would be loversmeet and do their best not to acknowledge their feelings for each other.Lynn Kurland is a skilled time travel writer, bringing time travelinto modern times and merging the two.

This was the first of Lynn Kurland's books I had read and I really enjoyed the characters, the plot and the time travel aspect of the book. I intend to read others of Ms. Kurland's books!
Nicholas de Piaget is finished demioselles more interested in his riches than his heart. He is certain he'll spend the rest of his life in his leaky castle, watching others enjoy wedded bliss, until he stumbles upon a flame-haired maiden in distress. His honor demands that he help her return home - if only his heart would allow it.
Jennifer mcKinnon is convinced that there are no more knights in shining armour - at least not in Manhattan. Then a chance trip to England leaves her wondering if a happily ever after might be in her future. Little does she know that a hero of legendary chivalry awaits her...eight hundred years in the past!

This is another of my favorite Lynn Kurland books. I was so happy that Nicholas finally got his own story, and a really good one. If you love Lynn Kurland, don't miss this one!

This is the first book I've read by Lynn Kurland and I really enjoyed it and will be reading more of them. The characters were well developed and the story so charming. What woman doesn't dream about finding a handsome knight in shinning amor? A sweet, beautiful love story and good read.
