This is a great book. A bunch of seemingly unconnected stories come together in a book that kept me up late reading because it was so gripping. I highly recommend this book.

An excellent book. Atkinson writes characters so beautifully you feel like you know them, that they are real people. This book was the second I read featuring Jackson Brodie. I'd like to read more of her work. The story meanders around and it's not until it gets close to the end that she weaves everything together. A well written book that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Story was ok, but I don't understand why everyone seems to love this tale.

Another enormously enjoyable book from Kate Atkinson.Suspenseful, funny & fine storytelling.
An involving read that wouldn't let me put it down at all for the last 6 chapters. Read it in one weekend right after "One Good Turn" & was most pleased with the continuity of characters. Jackson Brodie leads a story into very interesting territory when he stumbles into the tale. And there are a few new characters that would be welcome news in a sequel as well. Very well drawn and relatable.
Left me hoping Atkinson continues his story for several more volumes (as she indicates we haven't seen the last of him) & hoping the next one comes along soon!

Kate Atkinson never disappoints. This book has a cast of interesting characters and the seemingly unrelated all comes together as the book progresses. Very enjoyable and a quick read.
