I absolutely LOVED this book! I felt like I was a fly on the wall inside the character's minds! Exactly what you expect from Karen!
I LOVED THIS BOOK. I COULD HARDLY PUT IT DOWN. IT SHOWS EVEN THOUGH WE ARE CHRISTANS WE CAN STILL HAVE TRIALS AND LIFE IS NOT ALWAYS EASY. BUT THERE IS A WAY TO FIND FREEDOM.

An extremely emotional read...the mother is in a psychiatric hospital suffering from depression and near suicidal, the father is totally unaware that anything was wrong with his wife, the daughter is being abused in a foster home...and no one is willing to admit they might share in the blame for what went wrong. This is the kind of book that has to be put down every few chapters so that you can recover from the emotional reactions it generates in the reader.

I loved the reminder that God is working in your life even when you cant see it.
This was truly an awesome book. Very emotional. Karen Kingsbury writes so vividly that you are really in the story.
Good book. It kept my attention from beginning to end.
A hard to put down book, with a lesson about being honest in our relationships, and the stress & troubles that can result when we aren't.
Excellent!! One of this country's best Christian authors. Great book.
