WOW! I did it again. I said I would stop judging a book by its cover but I did it again. I just knew this was going to be a snoozer and I was not going to like it. The book is 345 pages, the cover looked boring. So why did I pick it up to read? It was a book by Bette Ford, enough said. Having read some of her other work, I was curious about this book. Oh, my, oh, my, oh my! This book is a definite page turner. I could not put it down. The storyline hit real close to my own live, for real. The characters are real and exciting. The emotion is pliable. I could really relate to Amanda and Zach's problems. Although, I have not had to fight the kind of personal issues Amanda went through, I can relate to the trouble she had with her mother-in-law, the loss of a her grandfather, and the issues with the newness of being married. Some people think that after the âI do'sâ it's just roses and sunshine and it's not always that. I loved the way Zach was patience and loving with Amanda, while at the same time pushing her to grow-up and face-up to her emotional and psychology issues from her childhood. This is a must read.

Haunted by her parents' tragic relationship, successful designer Amanda Daniels is desperately afraid her hasty marriage to rancher Zachary McFadden will lead to nothing but heartbreak. She agrees to give their union a try for one year. But to her surprise, Amanda finds the fiery sensuality between them challenging her mistrust---and creating a fragile bond that grows stronger every day. Soon through, that bond will be put to the test, forcing both Amanda and Zachary to make hard choices that can either free them from the pastâ¦or tear them apart forever
